Hello and Welcome to you from Heart of England Section country.
Heart of England Section of The AJS and Matchless Owners Club are based between Milton Keynes and Northampton. We congregate from a radius of about thirty miles around that. However, although most of us have AMC machines we share a love of any old or cranky machinery regardless of origin! Amongst us we possess many different marques. First and foremost we just like socialising with like minded people. If you like noisy, smelly, leaky old crankatrons (or are one yourself) you will fit right in!
How to Find Us!
Experts (?) abound!
Heart of England section meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays in the month, usually from about 7:30pm at The Lamb at Stoke Goldington. Check our calendar under the 'Coming Up!' tab in case we plan to travel elsewhere on the night you are coming to visit us.
We are a small and friendly bunch and very informal. See our 'Coming up' page for the Heart of England Section calendar. If you run a classic bike of any make or type you will find a wealth of knowledge amongst our ranks to help with those inevitable British bike problems. If you don’t have a bike but have an enthusiasm for AJS, Matchless or similar classics come along anyway and meet us. Who knows, this time next year you might have!

Warning.....Experts About!
HAND GEAR CHANGE!
If you have an AJS or Matchless, Heart of England Section has loads of knowledgeable members to tell you exactly what is wrong with the rivets on it. Only joking! Most of our bikes are owned to be ridden so comprise every standard from concours to reliable wreck. One owner’s Ajay has Kawasaki electrics and switchgear, Ford oil filter, indicators, BMC mini brakes, blue led light decor, forks that look as if they are from a Bonneville and, alarmingly, a black cat and a donkey roped to it.
We are not fussy who we are seen with. We just like to have a good time! If you do have a problem though, we can usually work out how to fix it!
